From my friend and amazing individual, Carey Russel - a call to action:
Hello all. I need a favor that I hope is painless as far as favors go, but so important to me and could be for you too.
In the next few days, you'll receive an official email marking the announcement of our fundraising campaign for a new film series called "Living in Exile: New Stories from the Tibetan Experience." Based on my work last year along the Thai-Burma border, I was personally invited to direct the project in collaboration with the Tibetan Ministry of Health, the Tibetan Woman's Association and the International Center for Mental Health and Human Rights.
It's going to be a unique and in many ways ground breaking project, but we're going to need some help seeing it all the way through. This is where you come in and why I'd like you to visit the following link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/428940392/living-in-exile-new-...
You'll find a video that explains everything in detail, but the nature of the series is to document the lives of Tibetan refugees and an exciting new training program to help monks and nuns to better assist trauma survivors suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. For me, it represents more than just my next project, but an endeavor I feel my work over the last 10 years has been preparing me for so I'm hugely honored and grateful.
Please take a closer look at the link above...and please share the project with your network of friends. If you can help this to go "viral," wonderful things become possible. So I need you to help me push this thing out there in hopes of it taking flight and creating a momentum of its own. Facebook. Twitter. Email. You name it.
Even a small hand from a lot of people will make a huge difference. I'd love for you to be a part of it, and celebrate all of our success when it's completed. And if you haven't discovered Kickstarter yet, you are in for a huge treat.
Thanks so much,
Carey

Hey Barb!
You won't recieve an email for blog posts unless you set that particular post to notify you. We only make global emails go out when we have a specific IT! related announcement.
Hope that helps!
