AOL has partnered with Feeding America to support that organization’s Hunger Action campaign on AOL Impact, a Web site dedicated to helping non-profits tell their stories and make it easier for users to take action. For each view of the Hunger Action video at AOL Impact, one meal will be donated to Feeding America. The campaign’s goal is to donate 100,000 meals to Feeding America by October 3rd.
PricewaterhouseCoopers is celebrating 100 years in Los Angeles with a community service campaign featuring projects across the city. “100 Years of Service, 100 Years of Giving Back” will include work with two dozen L.A. community organizations, including InnerCity Struggle, Habitat for Humanity, and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, among others. PwC recently hosted a service fair where the company’s 1,400 partners and staff met with participating organizations to volunteer for upcoming projects.
