A bit about myself:

I am an AmeriCorps Volunteer assigned to the American Red Cross. I'm currently finishing my B.S. in Medical Case Management and am looking forward to starting my Master's in Humanitarian Aid.

I am the mother of six, ages 12 - 27. I recently help start a not-for-profit agency addressing the needs of children in the foster care system. I am also the founding member of a not-for-profit helping families who are struggling with a child who is battling pediatric cancer. This group was formed as a legacy to my daughter who succumbed to leukemia 15 years ago.

If I had to describe myself, I'd say...?

I'm passionate - about everything.

faith. One of my favorite sayings is "Where logic end - faith begins".

empathy, compassion, counseling and problem solving.
