Hi Amy, Nice to hear from you. I have been wondering what ever happened with the telephone conversation with our founder, Olga Murray. We would still love to explore partnering with you. Please keep in touch. Best wishes - Janis Olson from the Nepalese Youth Opportunity Foundation

Hey Amy!

I finally surfaced this week after 3 weeks of grueling work on a personal project. The GENaustin Girls Now conference was this past Saturday - sold out! I will have pics and video on Pat Kirkland working with GENaustin's HS and MS girls around bullying up soon.

If you were ready to have that conversation, I'd love to do it before the end of the year. 2010 is coming up fast!

Thanks.

Started up the blog - usually I just tweet, so getting this much info down at one time is proving challenging. :) Check on my progress, send me some notes. I'll do my best to post the series as they come, hopefully 1 a day or so. Working on the video for the project proposal for IT.

Looking forward to talking later this week.

I am have some experience in socially responsible projects and organizations - I believe strongly in the individuals responsibility to effect change when confronted with inequities of all kinds.

I would certainly entertain being a panelist based on what you are looking for as far as expertise goes. I am currently championing an Austin non profit called GENaustin and their work with Skills to Success around anti bullying behaviors for girls. We're working on piloting a program and using film as part of the process.

So, sure, let's chat.

Thanks Amy.

I know Eion, but not much about him in relation to this project (Imagine This!) or the Ethiopia project. I'll take a look into the others on the panel and yourself as well.

Thanks for the info! I'll do my best to clear my schedule for tonight's event. Is this the first one of it's kind?

Thanks.

A Farewell For Now

Dear Imagine This Community,

I just wanted to write a brief (and a little sad) note to you all. As of Monday, I will no longer be with Imagine This! as project coordinator. At this time, I need to finish up graduate school and focus on some personal responsibilities. This is not goodbye forever, but just for now! Know that I appreciate all of you, your ideas, your passions and commitment to making this world one full of justice, hope and joy. I am cheering from the sidelines as Eion,… Continue

Inspired to Move in Many Languages!

Hey all!

I just back from a wonderful 2 week trip to rural Mexico, visiting with a village with which I've had a relationship for over 8 years. It was refreshing to spend time with these beautiful people and remember the reason why we're all involved in this. We are committed to making change in this world effectively and in way that communicates the richness of culture and power of unified effort.

This week, as we draw closer to making this a reality, we need your help!… Continue
