this is a fantastic idea. In the US, innovators are looking at modifying shipping containers for short-term housing alternatives for disaster victims who lose their homes. So this project and episode would not only assist residents of Jakarta who live in this frightening situation, but also create a replicable model for others to copy. Brilliant! Also, it gives Americans a window on the world and an appreciation of what it looks like - that statistic that millions (or billions) of people around the world live on less than $2 a day.

This is precisely what Imagine This! TV team aspires to do! You hit it right on the nose. As one of our developers put it - "helping more people indirectly then directly" - through making it possible in one location bringing the same opportunity to many other locations around the world!
Incredibly, in many places the shipping containers simply lay abandoned because it is cheaper (!) to make the new ones that to ship the empty ones back!
